SS 904L Sheets & Plates are resistant to higher inorganic acids, hot phosphoric acid, and most organic acids. They are readily weldable and can be easily fabricated by conventional fabrication shops. Such SS plates portray excellent resistance to pitting and are highly effective against various forms of corrosion, such as crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and intergranular corrosion. They have good formability and can resist higher temperatures, typically in the range of 450 degrees Celsius. Since they contain corrosion-resistant properties, SS 904L Sheets & Plates are used primarily in the process industry.
