SS 316Ti is an austenitic stainless steel grade. At Sankalp Alloys Overseas, we manufacture 316Ti Stainless Steel Sheets in a chemical concentration of 16% chromium and 10% nickel, combined with an increment of 2-3% molybdenum. This vigorous composition imparts more excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation in varied stress-induced environments to the 316Ti Stainless Steel Sheets. The low carbon content of the SS 316Ti Sheet enhances its tolerance to carbide precipitation. The said alloying and properties make these modules easily weldable without requiring additional treatment post-welding.

The high content of molybdenum in stainless steel 316Ti plates contributes to excellent resistance to pitting by chlorides in marine systems. On the other hand, the austenitic structure of the SS 316Ti Plate lags in keeping excellent toughness, both at raised and cryogenic temperatures.
As compared to other austenitic grades of plates, a 316Ti Stainless Steel Plate shows higher creep, tensile strength, and stress rupture properties at higher temperatures. Though it tends to work harden quickly if machined rapidly, maintaining low speeds and constant feed rates is necessary.
The 316Ti Stainless Plate can be hot rolled under very high temperatures from 1150 to 1260 degrees Celsius. Successively, they can be cold-rolled for better characteristics and properties.
