UNS S32750 vs. UNS S32760: Being chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel alloys, these types of steel show very high resistance to corrosion with very high mechanical strength; neither alloy is magnetic. The difference lies in the composition where S32750 is a duplex grade stainless steel containing nearly equal portions of austenite and ferrite. Super Duplex S32750 sheet is constituted mainly of equal amounts of ferrite and austenite, which makes it highly resistant to corrosion and more robust than other classes of stainless-steel alloys. Typical thicknesses range from 0.4mm up to 6mm, and custom thicknesses are available upon request to suit project requirements. Super Duplex S32750 sheet has excellent weldability and excellent machinability; hence, its applications include high-pressure applications such as offshore oil and gas projects, chemical processing, desalination plants, construction of pools/spas, firewalls, etc. There are some form changes to the Super Duplex S32750 sheets during welding; therefore, handling during installation must be careful.
