Moreover, ASTM A336 Nitronic 50 Alloy provides enhanced resistance to corrosion and is designed for use in industries like Oil & Gas, Marine, Nuclear, Pulp and Paper, Textile, and Food Processing.

Nitronic 60 Plate is a highly resistant alloy, developed primarily for high-temperature use, possessing adequate properties up to about 1800°F (982°C). Generally speaking, the oxidation service of Nitronic 60 Plate is excellent and comparable to—or at times even better than—the nickel-base alloys—far superior to Type 309 SS or even superior to Type 304 SS. Nitronic 60 Checkered Plate offers better wear resistance than 304 stainless steel and has higher chloride pitting resistance than 316 stainless steel.
