The ASTM tests can thus be used to access the thermal stability properties of Hastelloy C2000 Tee Pipe Fittings; this should be done once the material has been sensitized at 871°C. Hastelloy C2000 Stub End Pipe Fittings also withstand severe attacks by chlorides and other halide solutions, such as pitting, crevice attack, and stress corrosion cracking. Although it contains only about 1.6% copper, this is sufficient to improve its properties without prejudicing the well-known characteristics of Hastelloy C2000 End Cap Pipe Fittings.
